I finally finished some more projects!

After I got a little extra winter work, I decided to buy some more modern vehicle kits. Three shipments in total through the great Amazon.com. The first two arrived yesterday, 2x Revell Dingo/Biber, and 4xHeller VAB 4x4. I was surprised to find the Heller kits because I though the only current French vehicle kits existed only in resin. The third package, thanks the USPS, landed in my home town yesterday, and then was shipped out to another place today, argh!

The Heller kits are very nice, being easy to assemble, cheap, and relatively detailed, they are a great resource for wargamers.

I added crew from various Caesar modern sets, including the French one. I didn't have enough of the French to finish them all though.

The platoon I showcased earlier in the year.

Time for the Bundeswehr! These are the figures I posted in a preview a few days ago. they are modeled after a "Jager Zug," which is kind of generic TO&E for mountain troops and paratroops.
I like how this organization looks, nice symmetric blocks of ten, even in the command section.

Some riflemen I converted into grenadiers.

Same here except with the German version of the SAW.

Here is one of the other two models I got, the Dingo-1. Frankly this thing looks more like a Brinks truck than an APC.

This is a repaint job of the Revell Fuchs. I also added the armored shield on the MG. I ordered another one of these, that's the package that is traveling about the US.

I would love to shoot one of these. Automatic 40mm grenade launcher.

I colored the armored windows with brown permanent marker, then gave it a layer of  clear, gloss, glue.
